Tidying up our office and found we have some old hardware we need to get rid of. Before we throw it away though, I thought someone out there might have some use for some of it. If so help yourself.
The items are 2 desktop pc’s and 2 tape drives. They are offered on an “as is” basis, and need to be picked up from the Azabu area in Tokyo.
Update 28/10/08 - the desktops have gone. The tape drives are still there if anyone wants them!
1. Compaq Evo W4000 Desktop

The capacitors on the motherboard have blown. No ram, hard disk. but if you want a box to build a computer you could use this.
2. Dell PIV Desktop

This desktop works. Currently has Ubuntu installed - which doesn’t need a fast computer to work. So if you need a computer to surf the internet this would be fine. You will need your own monitor. Pentium IV 128mg ram, 10.2Gb hard drive, floppy drive, cd drive, ethernet card.
3. Fujitsu DLT Tape Drive

This doesn’t work. Don’t know what you would want it for, but there are plenty of creative people out there in Tokyo.
4. Compaq 20/40 GB DLT Tape Drive

Same condition as the Fujitsu tape drive.
